Dear Charles Lucas There are many things I could say in life but your life would be much easier for if you can learn to let go. You do not always and to be right and you don't know everything.  Do give of daily meditation practice in the morning and the evening it will help to keep you calm and relax. You will be ability to better hand life. Do given in to peer pressure to stop exercising or how to study.  Learn to do what works for you. Keep growing and keep moving forward and do not focus on the past. Once to you fall off the horse it is hard to get back on, restarting your left at 40+ is not easy. Do not care about the others and focus on being a good person. Sincerely; Charles Lucas

#4 What does it feel like to walk around after receiving massage on the back of your legs? Are there words, images, feelings that arise from your legs?

I really do not usually experience images, or feels, I am usually more focus on relaxing.  I don't get to relax to often, When I leave school I usually have to get to work, I work from home so then cook dinner and then find time to study, so time I need to teach a martial arts class. Any relaxation and rest is much appreciated.

#3 What is character Armor? How do you image character armor you might have developed?

In eastern massage, the cause of most disease and illness is do to imbalance in the ki/chi and meridian system the the meridians are thought to be connect to emotions there emotions is one the causes to imbalances. This idea of "character armor" form the basic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. When we suppress emotions these can cause the imbalance which in turn weakness the immune system and then we go sick. Often when we are doing odservation diagnosis we observing as a client walks in the door, where tension is being carried in the body, this part of the process of finding out which meridians have to much energy (jitsu) or to little energy (Kyo).  Jitsu is area of tension and Kyo are areas are to soft. Outside of shiatsu there is additional evidence to where muscle tensions is cause by suppression of emotion.  During martial arts training of adults I found when learning roll and tumble to prevention injury during throwing; most injuries are cause by musc...

#2 When you reflect on medical oath "Do no harm," what does that mean to you?

In general in my pasted training in shiatsu and reiki it is alway to do no harm.  In the Ohashi Method of shiatsu, is to use your body to apply control pressure and use counter pressure on on too point to reduce pain. The general practice of healing is not to do harm.  I try to teach my martial arts students to learn First Aid and CPR, the need to learn healing arts to balance the amount of violence they learn through martial arts. I find interesting that a doctor's oath is to "do no harm" but many of there medications they do more harm then good. The cancer medications let wife with more problems then it fixed.  She has hard-time remembering, it made her sterile, she now battles depression. How is this doing not harm.  My mother condition is worst, her cancer medication gave her early onset Alzheimer's.  She lost weight and has almost no fat and sick all the time. The both are alive but their quality of life is a struggle.
