#2 When you reflect on medical oath "Do no harm," what does that mean to you?

In general in my pasted training in shiatsu and reiki it is alway to do no harm.  In the Ohashi Method of shiatsu, is to use your body to apply control pressure and use counter pressure on on too point to reduce pain.

The general practice of healing is not to do harm.  I try to teach my martial arts students to learn First Aid and CPR, the need to learn healing arts to balance the amount of violence they learn through martial arts.

I find interesting that a doctor's oath is to "do no harm" but many of there medications they do more harm then good.

The cancer medications let wife with more problems then it fixed.  She has hard-time remembering, it made her sterile, she now battles depression.

How is this doing not harm.  My mother condition is worst, her cancer medication gave her early onset Alzheimer's.  She lost weight and has almost no fat and sick all the time.

The both are alive but their quality of life is a struggle.
